The Medieval World presenter will be in authentic costume and provide a living history talk about:
Life and Death in a Victorian Gaol
as described on Radio Suffolk
He will tell of the life in a Victorian gaol. Hear what the term "hard labour" really meant. Learn the difference between a prison and a gaol and between a convict and a prisoner. Hear all the grisly details of how both capital and corporal punishment was carried out.
The presentation will be illustrated with items from the Victorian penal system and there will be a static display for perusal. The audience is encouraged to handle the items on display.
Contact Medieval World for a price and you will be pleasantly surprised at how affordable it is!
Expenses will be agreed at the time of booking so that there are no nasty surprises on the invoice.
The invoice can be delivered prior to the presentation or on the day. Payment would be appreciated on the day, but in any case within 7 days of the presentation unless there is prior agreement.
