Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Founded in the 10th century, it is not surprising that the town entertains its fair share of ghosts, ghoulies and things that go bump in the night. Feeling brave? Then walk with our costumed guide through the darkened streets and alleyways and you never know who, or perhaps what, you may encounter.
The Ghost Walk offers an evening walking tour of Bury`s haunted locations and lasts approximately 1½ hours. Whilst the planned route is manageable by both wheelchair and pushchair users and can be enjoyed by the whole family, it does cover about 1½ miles.
Book the Ghost Walk through the Bury St Edmunds Tourist Information Centre at 6 Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds IP33 1UZ. Telephone 01284 764667. Or via email at tic@stedsbc.gov.uk
When I'm asked “Are you afraid of the dark?” my answer is “No, I'm afraid of what is in the dark.”

Ghost hunting is a bit like fishing, you don't really know if you're going to catch anything or not, and most of the time you're just waiting.
